INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦑 1 squid
Tofu
- 🧈 150g firm tofu
Vegetables
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 1.5 tbsp mirin
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water
STEPS
Wrap the firm tofu in kitchen paper and pat dry. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare the squid by removing the tentacles and innards, cutting off the beak, and cleaning thoroughly under running water.
Cut the squid into bite-sized pieces, including the body and tentacles.
In a frying pan, add the seasoning ingredients (mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, water) and tofu. Cover with a drop lid and heat on high until boiling.
Add the squid to the pan, cover again with the drop lid, and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve with chopped green onions sprinkled on top.
