INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 250g boiled bamboo shoots
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil for cooking
- 1 tsp sesame oil for finishing
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- đź’§ 200cc water
STEPS
Cut the bamboo shoot tips into 3mm strips and the rest into 2mm strips.
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pot and stir-fry the bamboo shoots until coated with oil.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce, chicken stock powder, and water) and bring to a boil. Cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat until the liquid evaporates.
Add 1 tsp sesame oil and stir-fry until evenly coated.
