INGREDIENTS
Starch
- 🥔 4 large baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 🧈 1 tablespoon butter
- 🥛 ¼ cup milk
Protein
- 2 pounds ground lamb
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cube beef bouillon
Vegetables
- 12 button mushrooms, sliced
- 🧅 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can carrots, drained (Optional)
Canned Goods
- 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans
- 🍅 1 (12 ounce) can canned diced tomatoes
Sauces & Mixes
- 3 tablespoons brown gravy mix (Optional)
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the potatoes into a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk to your desired texture.
Crumble the ground lamb into a large skillet and cook until no longer pink. Season with Worcestershire sauce and beef bouillon. Add mushrooms and onion, cooking until tender. Transfer to a large casserole dish.
Mix baked beans, diced tomatoes, gravy mix (optional), and carrots (optional) into the lamb mixture. Spread mashed potatoes over the top and rake with a fork for texture.
Bake for 10 minutes until the top is browned and crispy.
