INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🍖 4 pounds baby back pork ribs
Liquids
- 💧 ⅔ cup water
- ⅓ cup red wine vinegar
- 💧 1 cup water
- ½ cup cider vinegar
Condiments
- 1 cup ketchup
- ⅓ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 🟡 ¼ cup prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Dairy
- 🧈 4 tablespoons butter

- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 🧂 ⅛ teaspoon salt
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place ribs in two 10x15-inch roasting pans. Mix water and red wine vinegar; pour over ribs. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, basting halfway through cooking.
Prepare BBQ sauce by mixing ketchup, water, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, butter, brown sugar, hot pepper sauce, and salt. Simmer for 60 minutes.
Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil. Transfer ribs from oven to grill, discarding cooking liquid. Grill for 15 minutes, turning once.
Baste ribs with BBQ sauce and grill for another 8 minutes. Turn ribs, baste again, and grill for 8 more minutes.
