INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 30 pieces of rice cakes
- đź§€ Desired amount of mozzarella cheese
Sauce
- đź§‚ 2.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍯 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Garnish
- 🌰 A pinch of sesame seeds
- 🌰 A pinch of black sesame seeds
STEPS
Mix soy sauce, oligosaccharide, sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl until the sugar dissolves.
Heat a pan with oil and stir-fry the rice cakes until golden and soft.
Turn off the heat, pour the prepared sauce into the pan, then turn the heat back to medium-low and stir-fry.
Once the sauce coats the rice cakes and turns reddish, add honey and mix well.
Turn off the heat, mix in sesame seeds and black sesame seeds, and serve in a bowl or cup.
For a cheesy version, place the rice cakes in a cup, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 5-10 minutes until the cheese melts.
