INGREDIENTS
Vegetable
- 300g spicy daikon, halved and sliced
Meat
- 🍗 250g chicken thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 150ml water
STEPS
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Halve the spicy daikon lengthwise and slice into 1cm thick half-moons.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat, add chicken and stir-fry until the color changes.
Add spicy daikon and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until coated with oil.
Add sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and water. Mix well and bring to a boil.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 12–14 minutes.
