INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 220g Pacific saury fillets
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk white part of green onion
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chili paste
- Pinch of white sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut the Pacific saury into thirds and lightly coat with flour.
Cut the green onion into four equal pieces.
Mix the sake, mirin, soy sauce, and chili paste in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, place the Pacific saury skin-side down, and arrange the green onion in the empty spaces. Cook on medium heat for 5–6 minutes until browned.
Pour the mixed sauce over the fish and green onion, coating them evenly.
Serve on a plate and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
