INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
Meat
- 🥩 150g sliced beef short ribs
Vegetables
- 🥬 120g kimchi
- 1/2 bunch chives
- 🍄 3 shiitake mushrooms
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, sliced
Oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Liquid
- đź’§ 300ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
Seasoning
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- Pinch of black pepper
- Sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut chives into bite-sized pieces, slice shiitake mushrooms, and thinly slice garlic. Thinly slice beef short ribs.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic, beef, and shiitake mushrooms, and stir-fry until the beef changes color.
Add water and sake, cover the pot, and simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add chives, kimchi, soy sauce, grated ginger, and black pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.
Serve the soup over bowls of cooked rice and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
