INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 300-400g thick pork belly
Coating
- 🌾 1 tbsp pancake mix
- 🌾 2 tbsp tempura flour
- 0.5 tbsp cooking oil
Sauce
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- đź§‚ 2 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Pat the pork belly dry with a paper towel if needed and cut into 1-2cm pieces.
Sprinkle pancake mix and tempura flour on a cutting board and coat the pork pieces evenly.
Heat 0.5 tbsp cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
Place the pork pieces in the pan and cook each side until golden brown.
Remove excess oil from the pan using a paper towel.
Pour the prepared sauce over the pork and stir gently over low heat.
Serve on a plate and garnish with optional spices for presentation.
