INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 2 pounds ground beef
Canned Goods
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 medium jalapeno peppers, chopped
Spices
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 🧂 2 teaspoons salt
- 🧄 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
STEPS
Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
Transfer beef to a slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeño peppers, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, garlic, and black pepper; stir to combine.
Cook on Low for 10 hours or High for 6 1/2 hours.
