INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 3 sheets fish cake
- đź§… 1/2 onion
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 handful chopped green onion
Seasoning
- 1 tsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- A dash of black pepper
- 0.5-1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 chopped chili pepper
STEPS
Cut the fish cake and onion into bite-sized pieces. Optionally, pour boiling water over the fish cake to remove excess oil.
Mix all seasoning ingredients to prepare the sauce. Adjust chili pepper amount to taste.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan over low heat and add chopped green onion to make green onion oil.
Increase the heat to high, add onion, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
Add fish cake and stir-fry for about 1 minute. If you poured hot water earlier, reduce cooking time to 20 seconds.
Add the prepared sauce and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until well combined. Adjust heat if the sauce starts to burn.
