INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🦑 1 large squid
- đź§… 1/2 onion
- đź§… 2/3 green onion
- 🥬 109g cabbage
- 1 small green chili pepper
- đź§„ 3 cloves minced garlic
- A dash of sesame oil
- A dash of sesame seeds
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp red pepper powder
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍶 1 tbsp rice wine
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce for final step
- 🍶 1 tbsp rice wine for blanching squid
STEPS
Cut the cabbage into square pieces.
Slice the green onion into halves: green part lengthwise and white part finely chopped.
Slice the onion thickly and chop the chili pepper as desired.
Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Cut the cleaned squid into bite-sized pieces.
Blanch the squid in boiling water with 1 tbsp rice wine.
Drain the squid and pat dry with paper towels.
Mix the squid with the prepared seasoning sauce.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until fragrant.
Add the seasoned squid to the pan.
Add cabbage and stir-fry until slightly softened.
Add green onion and chili pepper, then stir-fry until combined. Add 1 tbsp soy sauce and mix lightly.
Remove from heat and finish with sesame oil and sesame seeds.
