INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup rice cakes
- 🍄 1 handful sliced shiitake mushrooms
Seasonings
- A small amount of vegetable oil

- 🍅 1/2 tbsp ketchup
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- đź§„ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 🌰 A small amount of sesame seeds
STEPS
Mix water, ketchup, sugar, gochujang, chili powder, and garlic to create the sauce.
Heat the sauce in a pan over low heat.
Once the sauce starts bubbling, add sesame seeds and turn off the heat.
Slice the shiitake mushrooms.
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan.
Add rice cakes to the heated oil and stir-fry until puffed.
Add mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry quickly.
Remove the rice cakes and mushrooms from the pan and toss them in the sauce.
Briefly stir-fry the coated rice cakes and mushrooms over high heat.
Plate the dish and serve.
