INGREDIENTS
Pastry
- 1/2 sheet frozen puff pastry (20x20cm)
Protein
- 🍗 1 chicken thigh (150g)
Vegetables
- 🥬 100g spinach
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 50g shimeji mushrooms
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 200ml milk
- 💧 100ml water
- 🥚 Beaten egg, as needed
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
STEPS
Cut spinach into 4-5cm pieces, slice onion thinly, and separate shimeji mushrooms.
Season chicken with salt and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat olive oil in a pan, cook chicken until lightly browned on both sides, then remove.
Wipe excess oil from the pan, add butter, and sauté spinach, onion, and mushrooms until onion softens. Return chicken to the pan.
Add flour and mix until evenly combined.
Add milk, water, and seasonings, stirring until thickened. Divide mixture into heatproof containers and let cool.
Cut puff pastry into halves, roll out slightly larger than containers, cover each container, and seal edges. Brush with beaten egg.
Bake in a preheated oven at 210°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
