INGREDIENTS

- 🦑 1 squid (250g)
Vegetables
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
- đź§… 1/4 onion, sliced
- Parsley, as needed
Condiments
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of sliced chili
Pasta
- 180g spaghetti
Tomato Sauce
- 🍅 200g canned whole tomatoes
- đź§‚ 1 tsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Clean the squid by removing the innards, cartilage, and beak. Cut into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
Mince the garlic and slice the onion thinly.
Boil water in a pot, add 1 tbsp salt, and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, chili, and onion, and sauté until fragrant. Add the squid and stir-fry briefly.
Add the tomato sauce ingredients (canned tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper, and water) to the pan. Crush the tomatoes and simmer for 4 minutes. Mix in the cooked spaghetti and garnish with parsley.
