INGREDIENTS

- 🍗 1 chicken thigh (300g)
- đź§… 1 scallion (green part only)
- 🌱 4 slices ginger
- 2 tbsp sake
Sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp white sesame seeds
- đź§… 3 tbsp chopped scallion
STEPS
Trim excess fat from the chicken thigh and make several cuts into the thick parts.
Place chicken, scallion, and ginger in a microwave-safe container. Pour sake over them and cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave at 600W for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through. Let it cool slightly while covered.
Remove the chicken, scallion, and ginger from the container. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Add the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, sesame oil, white sesame seeds, and chopped scallion) to the remaining steaming liquid in the container and mix well.
Arrange the chicken on a plate and pour the sauce over it.
