INGREDIENTS
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1 bunch (30g) watercress
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic, minced
Nuts
- 🌰 25g roasted walnuts, chopped
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Cut the watercress into 3cm pieces, mince the garlic, and roughly chop the walnuts.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Heat salad oil in a pan over low heat, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add chicken, skin-side down, and cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until browned.
Flip the chicken and cook for another 2–3 minutes over medium-low heat until fully cooked. Add walnuts and watercress, stir to coat with oil.
Add mirin and soy sauce, stir quickly to combine, and serve immediately.
