INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 🧈 ½ cup butter, softened
- 🥚 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
Fruits & Add-ins
- 🍓 ¾ cup chopped strawberries
- ½ cup miniature marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows (for topping)
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
Sift all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
Beat brown sugar and butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
Combine the sifted flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix until just incorporated. Then fold in chopped strawberries and ½ cup miniature marshmallows.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle 2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows on top.
Bake in the preheated oven until set in the center, approximately 25 minutes.
