INGREDIENTS
Base Crust
- 🥨 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ¾ cup margarine, melted
- 🧂 2 teaspoons white sugar
Cream Cheese Layer
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 🧂 ¾ cup white sugar
- 4 ½ ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
Jell-O Layer
- 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
- 💧 2 cups boiling water
- 🍓 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a medium bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted margarine, and sugar.
Press crushed pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Blend cream cheese and sugar together in a bowl. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
In a medium bowl, dissolve strawberry-flavored Jell-O® in boiling water. Mix in frozen strawberries and let cool for 15 minutes.
Pour the Jell-O mixture over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
