INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets of Suzuki fish
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough flour for coating
Dairy
- 🧈 1 tbsp salted butter
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍅 200g canned tomatoes
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp granulated consomme
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
STEPS
Mince the onion. Season both sides of the Suzuki fillets with salt and pepper, then lightly coat them with flour.
Heat butter in a frying pan. Once melted, place the Suzuki fillets skin-side down. Pan-fry over medium heat until both sides are golden brown, then remove from the pan.
In the same pan, sauté garlic and minced onion over medium heat until the onion softens. Add canned tomatoes and bring to a boil. Mix in consomme, soy sauce, and sugar, then simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.
Plate the Suzuki fillets and pour the tomato sauce over them.
