INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 150g pork belly
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🍄 1/2 enoki mushroom, torn
- 🍚 1 bowl of cooked rice
- 🥚 1 egg
Seasonings
- đź§‚ 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp corn syrup
- A pinch of pepper
- đź§‚ 1 tsp salt
STEPS
Slice the onion and tear the enoki mushroom into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until softened. Sprinkle a bit of salt while cooking. Set aside.
Cook the pork belly in the pan until golden and crispy.
Add soy sauce, corn syrup, and 4 tbsp of water to the pan. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Flip the pork belly to coat evenly with the sauce. Cook until the sauce thickens and then turn off the heat.
In another pan, heat oil and scramble the egg until soft and fluffy.
Place cooked rice into a bowl.
Top the rice with sautéed onion and enoki mushroom.
Add the glazed pork belly on top and drizzle the remaining sauce around.
Finish by placing the scrambled egg on top.
