INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredient
- 1 piece (200g) atsuage
- 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 100ml water
STEPS
Wipe off excess oil from the atsuage using a paper towel, then cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Add all seasoning ingredients (☆) into a pot and heat until boiling. Add the atsuage, cover, and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes.
Serve the simmered atsuage on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
