INGREDIENTS
Chicken
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥬 2 lettuce leaves
Flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 2 tsp sake
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- đź§„ A pinch of garlic paste
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🌰 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the marinade ingredients (sake, soy sauce, garlic paste) in a bowl and add the chicken. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Coat the marinated chicken evenly with potato starch and all-purpose flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan to 170°C and fry the chicken until cooked through, turning occasionally.
In a separate pan, bring the sauce ingredients (sugar, mirin, sake, soy sauce, sesame seeds) to a boil. Add the fried chicken and coat evenly.
Serve the chicken on a plate with lettuce leaves.
