INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 6 slices thinly sliced pork belly (120g)
Vegetables
- 50g garlic chives
Seasoning
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
- Potato starch as needed
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp sliced red chili
STEPS
Peel the thin red skin off the garlic chives and cut them into quarters.
Season the pork slices with salt and pepper, place 1/6 of the garlic chives on each slice, and roll them tightly. Lightly coat the rolls with potato starch.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until evenly browned.
Remove excess oil with a paper towel, add the sauce ingredients, and simmer over medium heat while turning the rolls until the sauce thickens and coats them.
