INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 200g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetable
- 1 roasted sweet potato
- 150g lotus root
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Cut the roasted sweet potato into 1.5cm slices, peel the skin, and halve each slice. Slice the lotus root into 5mm half-moon shapes and soak in water, then drain.
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork and stir-fry until the color changes. Add the lotus root and stir-fry until slightly translucent.
Add the roasted sweet potato and stir-fry until coated with oil. Add the sauce ingredients and stir to coat everything evenly.
