INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 2 servings udon noodles
- 1/4 head cabbage
- 1/2 bag bean sprouts
- đź§… 1/2 onion
- 1 stalk green onion
- đź§„ 4-5 cloves garlic
- 2 king oyster mushrooms
- 4 slices bacon
- 🍤 1 handful cocktail shrimp
- A sprinkle of black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 handfuls bonito flakes
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
STEPS
Prepare the vegetables: wash bean sprouts, slice cabbage, onion, green onion, garlic, and king oyster mushrooms. Cut bacon into large pieces.
Cook the udon noodles briefly until slightly loosened but not fully cooked. Drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic and green onion until fragrant. Add onion, bacon, shrimp, and king oyster mushrooms, stirring continuously.
Add cabbage and sprinkle black pepper. Stir-fry until vegetables are slightly softened.
Add the udon noodles directly to the pan. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and stir-fry until evenly coated.
Add bean sprouts and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Drizzle sesame oil and stir briefly before turning off the heat.
Serve the stir-fried udon topped with bonito flakes for enhanced flavor.
