INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 150g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🍠200g sweet potato, cut into sticks
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
Seasonings
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 3 tbsp salad oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Mix beef with sake, cornstarch, and salt and pepper in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Cut sweet potato into 5cm sticks and soak in water. Dry thoroughly. Slice bell peppers thinly.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Fry sweet potato until lightly browned and remove.
Wipe excess oil from the pan. Add sesame oil, doubanjiang, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry on low heat until fragrant.
Add beef and stir-fry on medium heat until browned. Add sweet potato and bell peppers, and stir-fry briefly.
Add sauce ingredients and stir-fry until evenly coated.
