INGREDIENTS
Dough
- 100g glutinous rice flour
- đź’§ 6 tbsp water
Filling
- 🍠100g sweet potato
- đź§‚ 20g sugar
- 🥛 1 tbsp milk
- đź§€ 10 pieces candy cheese (50g)
Coating
- 🌰 4 tbsp white sesame seeds
- A small amount of salad oil
STEPS
Cut sweet potato into 1cm slices, peel thickly, and quarter. Soak in water and drain.
Place sweet potato in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes. Add sugar, mash while hot, mix in milk, and let cool.
In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour and water until a cohesive dough forms. Divide into 10 portions.
Take 1/10 of the sweet potato mixture, flatten, place candy cheese on top, and wrap. Then wrap with 1/10 of the dough.
Lightly moisten the wrapped dough and coat with sesame seeds.
Heat a takoyaki pan with salad oil, place the coated dough balls, and cook while rotating until crispy all around.
