- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Cut the bamboo shoots in half lengthwise and wash off the white residue. Separate the tips and the base. Slice the tips thinly lengthwise and the base into thin slices after halving horizontally.
Add the seasoning ingredients, bamboo shoots, and ginger to a pot. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed.
