    • 🥔 2 medium potatoes (300g)

    • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Remove the roe from the tarako.

Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Cut potatoes into chunks and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain and microwave potatoes in a heatproof container covered with plastic wrap at 600W for 6 minutes. Drain excess water.

Mash the hot potatoes with a fork and let cool slightly. Mix in tarako, mayonnaise, and salt and pepper.

Spread butter evenly on each slice of bread.

Place one slice of bread on a sheet of plastic wrap. Layer half the lettuce, half the potato mixture, and another slice of bread. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and let it sit to meld flavors. Cut in half. Repeat for the second sandwich.
