INGREDIENTS
Teriyaki Sauce
- 🧂 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 🍬 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 🧄 1 small clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
Main
- 🐟 1 (6 ounce) salmon filet
- 🥕 1/4 cup grated carrots
- 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
- 🍚 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl to create the teriyaki sauce. Place the salmon fillet, skin side down, in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce over the salmon.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven until it flakes easily with a fork, about 12 to 15 minutes.
In a bowl, layer the cooked rice as the base. Add the salmon on top and spoon over the remaining teriyaki sauce from the baking dish.
Add shredded red cabbage, grated carrots, and thinly sliced radishes as toppings. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve warm.
