INGREDIENTS
Fish
- š 4 slices (400g) yellowtail fillet
Vegetables
- š± 30g snow peas
- Grated daikon radish, as needed
Seasoning
- š§ Salt, as needed
- All-purpose flour, as needed
- 1.5 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 3 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp mirin
- š§ 3 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Sprinkle salt over the yellowtail fillets and let sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels and lightly coat with flour.
Remove the strings from the snow peas.
Mix the sauce ingredients (sake, brown sugar, mirin, soy sauce) in a bowl.
Heat 1/2 tbsp of salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the snow peas and sautƩ briefly. Remove and set aside.
Add 1 tbsp of salad oil to the same pan and heat. Place the yellowtail fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Wipe off excess oil from the pan. Add the prepared sauce and bring to a boil. Coat the fillets with the sauce while simmering.
Plate the fillets, garnish with grated daikon radish, and serve with sautƩed snow peas.
