INGREDIENTS
Herbs & Aromatics
- 🌿 3 cups packed fresh basil leaves, washed and thoroughly dried
- 🧄 2 large cloves garlic
Nuts & Seeds
- 🌰 ¼ cup pine nuts, lightly toasted
Seasonings
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon kosher salt
Oils
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
Cheese & Dairy
- 🧀 ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Citrus
- 🍋 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
STEPS
Place the basil and garlic in a food processor. Pulse about 8 times until finely chopped.
Add the toasted pine nuts and salt to the processor. Turn it on low, gradually drizzling the olive oil through the chute until incorporated.
Add grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Pulse 2 times to combine.
