Cut the turnip leaves into 3cm pieces. Peel the turnips and cut them into quarters.

Cut the tofu into halves lengthwise, then into thirds horizontally.

In a pot, add turnips and water. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 6–8 minutes until tender.

Add soy milk, sake, salt, and soy sauce to the pot and mix. Add tofu and turnip leaves, then heat over medium heat until just before boiling.

Simmer on low heat for 3–4 minutes until the turnip leaves are wilted.
