INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- š§ 1 block tofu
- 1 cup cornstarch
- Generous amount of cooking oil
Seasoning Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp gochujang
- 7 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 7 tbsp cooking syrup
- š§ 1 tsp minced garlic
- š§ 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Dice 1 block of tofu into cubes.
Place 1 cup of cornstarch in a plastic bag, add diced tofu, and shake to coat evenly.
Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a frying pan and fry the coated tofu until golden brown on all sides.
Place the fried tofu on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
In the same frying pan, combine gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, cooking syrup, minced garlic, and salt. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Turn off the heat and add the fried tofu to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp of sesame seeds on top before serving.
