INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍚 1 bowl of cooked rice
- 🧈 150g tofu
- 💧 3 cups water
- 🧅 1 handful chopped green onion
Seasoning
- 🦐 1 tbsp shrimp paste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🦐 1/2 tsp shrimp powder
- 🍄 1/2 tsp shiitake powder
STEPS
Prepare cooked rice, chopped green onion, and tofu. Drain tofu and mash finely.
Add 3 cups of water and cooked rice to a pot. Boil until rice grains are soft and porridge thickens.
Add mashed tofu to the pot and stir well.
Season with 1 tbsp shrimp paste. Adjust to taste if serving without kimchi.
Add chopped green onion and stir.
Enhance flavor with 1/2 tsp shrimp powder and 1/2 tsp shiitake powder. Stir well.
Finish with 1 tbsp sesame oil and optional toasted sesame seeds.
