INGREDIENTS
Main
- 300g firm tofu
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 pack pea shoots
- 1/2 bag bean sprouts
- 30g shredded pizza cheese
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- Enough all-purpose flour for coating
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of black pepper for garnish
STEPS
Cut the firm tofu into 6 pieces, wrap in kitchen paper, and place a weight on top to drain for about 10 minutes. Coat with flour.
Trim the roots off the pea shoots and cut them in half.
Slice the bacon into thin strips, about 5mm wide.
In a frying pan, place 5g of shredded cheese in small circles over medium-low heat. Once the cheese begins to melt, place the tofu on top. Flip when browned, add olive oil, and cook until golden. Remove from the pan.
Using the same pan, fry the bacon over medium heat until browned. Add the pea shoots and bean sprouts, stir-fry briefly, and season with salt and pepper.
Plate the stir-fried vegetables first, followed by the tofu steak. Garnish with black pepper.
