INGREDIENTS

- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 3 turnips with leaves
- đź§… 1/2 onion, sliced
- đź§„ 1 clove garlic
Seasoning
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper to taste
Oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Tomato Sauce
- 🍅 200g canned diced tomatoes
- đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
- đź§‚ A pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Peel the turnips, cut into 6 wedges, and chop the leaves. Slice the onion and crush the garlic after removing its sprout.
Pat the chicken dry, cut into bite-sized pieces, and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and garlic in a pan over low heat until fragrant. Add chicken skin-side down and cook on medium heat until browned. Flip and add turnips and onions, sautéing for 3–4 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce ingredients, mix well, and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 8 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped turnip leaves.
