INGREDIENTS
Shrimp
- 🦐 200g peeled shrimp
Vegetables
- 🍅 1 tomato (200g), chopped
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, minced
- 1 piece ginger, minced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
Shrimp Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
Sauce
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 50cc water
STEPS
Clean the shrimp by removing the vein, washing, and patting dry. Mix shrimp with sake, salt, and cornstarch to marinate.
Chop the tomato into bite-sized pieces. Mince the green onion, ginger, and garlic.
Mix ketchup, sake, soy sauce, cornstarch, and water in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Add green onion, ginger, and garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add doubanjiang and stir for another minute.
Add chopped tomato and stir-fry for 1–2 minutes. Add marinated shrimp and cook until the shrimp turns pink.
Pour the sauce into the pan and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
