INGREDIENTS
Vegetable
- 🍅 1 tomato
Grain
- 🍚 1.5 cups warm cooked rice
Oil
- A small amount of sesame oil
Condiment
- A small amount of soy sauce
Seasoning
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- 2/3 tbsp vinegar
STEPS
Remove the tomato stem, make a cross-cut, and boil in hot water for 10 seconds. Transfer to ice water and peel the skin.
Cut the tomato in half vertically, remove seeds with a spoon, and further slice into quarters. Shape and clean the pieces.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sugar, salt, vinegar) in a bowl and combine with warm rice.
Place 1/8 of the seasoned rice on plastic wrap, shape into a small log, and top with a tomato slice. Brush lightly with sesame oil and serve with soy sauce.
