INGREDIENTS

  • Cheese Ball Base

    • 2 (8-ounce) blocks cream cheese
    • ¼ cup butter
    • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup white Cheddar cheese
    • 1 (4-ounce) jar pimentos
    • 1½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 3 sprigs rosemary

STEPS

1

Combine the cream cheese, butter, both Cheddars, pimentos, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic in a large bowl. Mash the ingredients together using a fork and stir until well combined.

2

Turn cheese mixture out onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Shape mixture into a ball, wrap it, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

3

Remove cheese ball from refrigerator, unwrap it, then turn out onto a sheet of parchment paper. Roll and mold the cheese ball into the shape of a Christmas tree.

4

First garnish with sliced almonds to create a garland. Wrap the almonds around the 'tree' in a spiral shape about three times. Press chopped parsley all around the tree and lastly add pomegranate seeds in a spiral pattern, similar to the almonds.

5

Use rosemary sprigs and red pepper strips as a 'tree topper,' or cut a star from bell pepper. You can also use a cherry tomato.

6

Serve with assorted crackers and pretzels for dipping.
