INGREDIENTS
Chicken
- 🍗 8 chicken wings (480g)
Coating
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- Enough salad oil for frying
Meat Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
Honey Mustard Sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt
- 🍯 1/2 tbsp honey
STEPS
Prepare the chicken wings by cutting near the joint and removing the smaller bone. Shape into tulip form with the skin side out.
Place the wings in a bag with the meat seasoning ingredients and massage. Seal the bag and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Mix the honey mustard sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Combine flour and potato starch in a tray. Coat the marinated wings evenly.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pan. Fry the wings for 3–4 minutes, flipping occasionally until cooked through.
Serve the fried wings with honey mustard sauce on the side.
