INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 250g tuna
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- Enough potato starch for coating
- Enough salad oil for frying
Marinade
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
STEPS
Cut the tuna into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 5 minutes. Pat dry to remove excess moisture.
Place the tuna and marinade ingredients (ginger, soy sauce, mirin) in a bag and let sit for 10 minutes. Coat the tuna with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to about 170°C (1cm depth). Fry the tuna until golden brown on all sides. Optionally, sprinkle with salt before serving.
