Chop green onions and dice konjac into 5mm cubes. Boil konjac for 3 minutes, rinse under cold water, and drain.

Cut grilled eel into 2cm wide pieces.

In a bowl, whisk egg, salt, dashi powder, and water. Sift in flour and mix until smooth.

Add chopped green onions and diced konjac to the batter and mix well.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan. Pour the batter into the pan and shape into a circle. Place eel pieces on top, cover with a lid, and cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes until golden brown.
