    • 2 (12 fluid ounce) cans or bottles Irish stout beer
  • Seasonings

    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
    • salt to taste
    • ground black pepper to taste
