INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seaweed
- 2 tbsp dried wakame
Liquid
- đź’§ Water as needed
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
STEPS
Place dried wakame in a plastic bag and crush it finely using a rolling pin.
Add soaked rice, seasonings (sake, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder), and water to the rice cooker up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice surface. Spread crushed wakame evenly on top and cook as usual.
Serve the cooked rice in bowls and sprinkle white sesame seeds on top.
