INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 8 chicken drumsticks (480g)
- đź§‚ Salt and pepper to taste
- Potato starch as needed
- 5 tbsp vegetable oil
- 🌰 2 tsp white sesame seeds
Sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- đź§„ 1 tsp grated garlic
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 🍯 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp gochujang
STEPS
Make cuts along the chicken drumsticks near the bone and season with salt and pepper. Lightly coat with potato starch.
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken drumsticks skin-side down and pan-fry until golden brown. Lower the heat and cook for 5–8 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.
Remove excess oil from the pan, reduce heat to low, and add the sauce. Stir to coat the chicken evenly. Sprinkle white sesame seeds before serving.
