Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
- 8 pieces (200g) frozen taro
- 6 pieces shishito peppers
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 150ml water

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

Remove the stems from the shishito peppers.

Heat salad oil in a pot and place the chicken skin-side down. Cook over medium heat until both sides are browned.

Add the frozen taro and seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, water). Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Add the shishito peppers, cover, and cook on medium heat for 1 minute.
