Cut the mushrooms in half lengthwise. Slice the garlic in half lengthwise, remove the core, and crush it with the flat side of a knife.

Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.

In a pot, heat olive oil, garlic, salt, and chili over low heat until fragrant. Add mushrooms and octopus, and simmer for 3–5 minutes until cooked through.
