- 1/2 bamboo shoot (boiled)
- 🧄 1 clove garlic

- 150cc olive oil
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp chili flakes

Cut the bamboo shoot into smaller pieces: separate the tip and root, and slice them into bite-sized pieces. Cut the garlic clove in half lengthwise, remove the core, and crush it with the flat side of a knife.

In a pot, combine olive oil, garlic, salt, and chili flakes. Heat over low heat until fragrant. Add the canned mackerel and bamboo shoot, then simmer over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
